During a brutal terrorist attack by the Maquis Reborn on Deep Space 10, Katrina's father lost his life, leaving behind a void that could never be filled. Determined to make a difference in the lives of those affected by interstellar conflicts and accidents, Katrina set her sights on joining Starfleet Medical. There, she excelled in her studies, proving herself to be not only a competent medical professional but also a caring and empathetic soul.
Finding Love
As her journey progressed, Katrina found herself on the starship USS Juneau, where she embraced the challenges of her role as a nurse with unwavering commitment. After a daring mission in the Oort Cloud, she crossed paths with Lieutenant John Kendrick, a skilled and charming Starfleet Security officer. They soon started dating, with John practically moving in with her once they both transferred to Denali Station. In May 2400, John unexpectedly left the Station to help the crew of the cargo ship The Wanderer.
