Personal History

K’trani Vr'Ner is 5'7" tall, 100lbs, with a dark orangey fur and tail, green/grayish cat's eyes, claws on her four-fingered hands and feet, which can be extended, if desired. Like all Caitians, she is bipedal. Her tail helps her balance. She is agile and fast if it's needed, but normally her behavior is quite elegant and deliberate. K’trani Vr'Ner's uniform was designed specifically for her. She has a better sense than the average humanoid; acute hearing, just like all cats, can hear much more than other bipedal.

Vr'Ner was the youngest of 6 from her mother's second litter. She grew up in the heard society until she decided to leave Cait when she reached maturity at the age of 14. She signed aboard a Caitian commercial freighter, where she served as Astrogator/Pilot and Communications Officer for 2 years.

The ship once flew to Vulcan, here she left this ship and applied to a local Federation office as Sciencist. She came into contact with many different races and learned their languages very fast. The she got called to the Vulcan Academy fo Science as she acguired quite a reputation. After 2 years of employment, where she prove her abilities, she was transferred to Earth, where she finally decided to enter Starfleet. There she chose Stellar Cartography.

After graduating from the Academy she was told to report at Starbase 118 on 238009.27 for her final training and to away from assigned. Upon passing her final training on 238010.10, she was posted onboard the U.S.S. Kodiak NCC-800101 as Assistant Science Officer. While the Chief Science Officer was on leave, she was promoted to Acting Chief Science Officer on 238010.20. After being informed by Lt Commander Rhys, First Officer of U.S.S. Kodiak, that the Chief Science Officer had taken an extended leave of absence, she was told to be remain as Acting Chief Science Officer till promoted to full time Chief Science Officer of U.S.S. Kodiak NCC-800101.

While the the Kodiak is being decontaminated, the Senior staffs and few of the crewmember were transferred to Bytok, a Bajoran freighter. We were ordered to find and speak to the Bon Amir group to deliver a message from the Federation. As we looked for the Bon Amir group, Lt(jg) Nash was kidnapped by a Gorn named Russhook. The Admiral ordered her, Dr. Solok, Dr. Haron, Cmdr Perkins, and Ensign Terpes to find Lt Nash and while his group looked for the Bon Amir. We returned from the Garden after finding some human blood. Then things got complicated. Russhook attacked Commander Perkins and Vr'Ner retaliated. She fought Russhook till she managed to put the Gorn unconscious and not without Russhook injuring her. She is now slowly recovering from her injured.

On stardate 238103.04, she was promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and re-assigned as the Chief HCO of Kodiak.

Notes

Better senses than the average humanoid; acute hearing, just like all cats, can hear much more than other humanoids, greater range of frequencies, and silent noises. She's able to see with a minimum of light, but is blind to colors. She has a very fine nose (Be careful of your perfume/cologne). She has a catlike sixth sense (warns her of dangerous situations). She's very adopt towards other languages, speaks several (English, French, Klingon, Vulcan, Rigellian Ferenginaar, Orion, Bajoran, Caitian) fluently but with a strong accent due to her organs. She has her own fighting style, and her tail is able to grasp things. Intercultural exchanges, as she is very open-minded. She's very fond of Vulcans and Rigellians, not only because of their pointed ears, but also because of their balanced mind, which she is lacking at times. Got fond of alcohol since she is joined Star Fleet, especially a drink called "Ferengi Star Drifter". K’trani do not like when people call her fur ball. "Ball of Fur" is acceptable from other Caitians only, and very special friends. She is a member of the Rr'Vellan clan, the second ranked clan of the three Great Clans T'Malla, Rr'Vellan and Hrr'Ashal. The Rr'Vellans have discernment for intergalactic diplomacy and trade. She follows the Mikan code of honor, the Jirr'takal. Every 27 days, when the both moons of Cait (Rea and Sura) are full moons, she has to sing the traditional Caitian song of rebirth. Once in a year she needs two weeks off duty, because she renews her fur.
