A willful child, Paylar's most difficult lesson to learn was discipline, and in spite of being born into a family that takes great stock in Starfleet careers, she never really buckled down and learned to do as she was told. She chose a career as a bartender, much to the disappointment of her parents.
The ditzy blonde attended Starfleet Academy because thought she had to be able to tend bar on a starship. But somehow, her papers were mixed up, and she was assigned to the USS Independence as a Security officer. She is currently assigned to the USS Discovery-B and trying to get her papers straightened out so she can tend bar in the Eagle's Roost.
