Background

Jazmine Amethyst Snow, AKA: Jazz, born 237905.01 to Aurora Jenevieve James and a man whose name Aurora never found out was born in New York City and then given up for adoption. She was raised in San Francisco, CA near Starfleet Academy.

Jazmine lived a simple life back on Earth until she learned she was adopted and her birth mother came into her life. Aurora had come to stay with Jazmine and her adoptive parents for a few months, however following Aurora’s departure Jazmine’s life spiraled out of control. With things at home in turmoil and no longer safe Jazmine reached out to her birth mother. Aurora was appalled by Jazmine’s situation and got her off Earth as soon as possible.

Jazmine successfully reunited with Aurora, her future wife Irina, and Irina's daughter Katya. After Aurora's death she stayed with Irina, looking for a family she did not have on Earth.
