Chronological History

Prior Hosts

Most recent first

  • 1. Sisera Yal: Sisera Yal was a host for nearly 20 years. A particularly greedy individual, he was a noted thief and pirate. His crimes added up, and he was ultimately captured. He petitioned to have his symbiont removed and let nature take it's course. Shortly after, Jael became host.
  • 2. Zeba Yal: Zeba was a host for over 60 years. She was also the first to serve in Starfleet, and achieved the rank of Captain. After stepping down from active duty, she taught at Starfleet Academy for a few years.
  • 3. Gedon Yal: Gedon was a host for 48 years. A brilliant warp core engineer, he assisted as a civilian engineer in the constitution class refits of the 2270s, and later assisted in the construction of the transwarp engine of the "Great Experiment". His final contribution was the early warp core layouts of the Ambassador class before he died of an engineering accident.
  • 4. Devria Yal: Devria was host for over 75 years. During her lifetime, she started out as a singer, entertainer, and actress for several years before moving into various humanitarian efforts. Ultimately, she became a noted Trill Diplomat, able to use her fame as an entertainer and a humanitarian to gain access to places where other diplomats would've failed.
  • 5. Yudi Yal: Yudi was host for just shy of a century. The first and longest living host, he was a physician and scientist throughout most of the 22nd century. He had wanderlust and traveled as much as he could. When he got to old to travel, he settled down and became a teacher of medicine at a university on the Trill Homeworld.

Current Host

Jael had a simple childhood growing up on Trillus Prime. Her parents were merchants and encouraged Jael's curiosity. Two of the happiest days in their lives were when Jael was accepted into Starfleet Academy, and when she was joined to the Yal Symbiont.

Jael had just completed her last year at the academy when she took a couple months off to be joined with the Yal Symbiont. Although young by most standards, Jael had passed all the requirements to be joined with flying colors and was next on the list to become a host. The Trill Symbiosis Commission was more concerned with the personality of Yal's prior host, Sisera, overwhelming Jael. Jael, however, was able to integrate and bond with the Yal Symbiont with little difficulty. She graduated with major in Physics.
