Childish.
Jack doesn't take many things seriously, and expects other people to take a joke. This is what causes him to get into a lot of trouble, especially during a diplomatic mission . . . lucky that that's rarely.
He counts on others to help him with a lot of things as he is not very independent. This can become a problem for his commanding officer, as Jack can sometimes just stand there and stare into space when he was given a direct order.
