Ragis Paternal Uncle Ishka and Ragis were very close and he was her favorite uncle. In the years prior to his exile, she took care of him and he shared his vast inside knowledge of the Council with her. His later exile and subsequent death would become a trigger for her to leave Leya-I and join Starfleet. What he shared with her led to her beginning to question what she'd been taught in her early years.
