Backstory/Timeline
At the age of 16, Inde and zir former partner began consulting with Star Fleet on upgrading the efficiency of some of their older vessels. During an unexpected conflict however Inde's partner was killed. While Inde survived ze wasn't able to be re-bonded to another Bynar (as is the tradition in such circumstances). Inde proceeded to spend the next two years in a rehab facility coming to grips with living by zirself.
As part of zir recovery ze took the name Inde short for Independent as a reminder that in spite of zir loss ze is more than capable of being an independent functioning being.
Since Inde no longer felt welcomed on Bynaus, Inde returned to Star Fleet but this time entered into the Academy in order to become an officer. Ze majored in Engineering with a minor in Helm/Operations.
