Notes

Hawkeye class

Obviously based on the "Delta Flyer" spaceframe built by the crew of the USS Voyager on their return journey to the Alpha Quadrant, the "SP-34 Hawkeye class Scout ship" was first constructed at the ASDB Integration Facility, Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards, Mars. The first Hawkeye to roll off the assembly line did so in 2390. the purpose of the Hawkeye is as a scouting vessel - long range detection and identification. It is not a combat vessel, and so has limited armaments. The "standard" Delta Flyer cabin housed a pilot and three optional crew (operations, tactical and engineeing). The Hawkeye cockpit only has room for two crew, the pilot and the TSO (Tactical Sensor Operator). The rest of the cabin is sensor and computer equipment. And while its hull does not sport a "stealth" coating, per se, the EM tiling and sensor damping hull do give it some measure of protection from detection. Hawkeyes are often used as spotters by fighter wings.
