For a member of the crew to be considered part of the team, they have to change their avatar on the forums and check in to crew's official thread in this forum with a funny quote, quip, or greeting. (i.e.- "Trick or treat!"). Please keep any other extraneous posts out of this thread as it will be used to count the ship's participants.
 
Important note: You can NOT use Star Trek crews as a theme. Insta-Fail!

The Halloween Avatar Contest is a once-yearly event, held in October. Ships that choose to participate choose a theme (like "Pirates") and assign a character to each player. Judging Criteria

  1. TO QUALIFY:
    • Your crew must follow the avatar upload process by the close of the contest.
    • For a member of the crew to be considered part of the team, they have to change their avatar on the forums and check in to crew's official thread in this forum with a funny quote, quip, or greeting. (i.e.- "Trick or treat!").
  2. SCORING:
    • Originality: TNG crew? FAIL!
    • Design: How hard was it to create the avatars? How readable do they look on the forums?
    • Participation: A participation multiplier is applied to each of the above categories. For example, 5 Halloween Avatars out of 12 Crew Members = 42% participation multiplier against other scores.
