During the undercover mission to Nassau, Groznin had to take the role of first officer due to humans being discriminated against, meaning Commander Marshall not being able to fulfil her us role, while he was 3/4 Human his unique Gene structure gives him the appearance of being almost fully Denobulan leading people to believe that he is indeed just Denobulan | |||
The mission him and the rest of the people on his team (Commander Jo Marshall, fellow lieutenant JG Corliss Fortune & the new Ensign Caitríona Cayne) has been given was to extract Undercover Starfleet Officer Blackbird. They had only limited details on who the man was so it was a challenge. | |||
The mission led them to also meet a Orion female who went by the name Theeda, she was nasty and made the team do things for her, in exchange for a specific item she had wanted to collect. After a while of debating they left Theeda and her thugs and headed towards the commercial district of Nassau. It was here that they headed into a bar too try and find the item that Theeda was after. The team split in two with Groznin staying with Commander Marshall. After a series of events occurred A bar fight started, which further led to Groznin being thrown into a table, becoming injured, it also led to a large link haired Naussican making a charge for Commander Marshall, not wanting her to be injured further after being stabbed earlier on Groznin pushed her out the was and took the charge full on being pushed into the bar, becoming winded which unbeknownst to him also gave him internal bleeding. The Naussican as distracted and seeing a bottle next to him he smashed it round the head of the Naussican and knocked him out. It was at this point the team decided it would be best to leave this part of Nassau and head towards the habituation district to try and carry on with the rest of their mission. | |||
They later on had arrived in the habitation district and started to try and somehow find their way to whoever this person they were trying to extract was. After a little bit of moving around in the slims and exploring what they could they came across a set of houses that were said to be where the mysterious Blackbird lived. Without knowing anything and being the only security officer in the team Groznin took it upon himself to go and knock at one of the doors to see if that was the ‘house’ he lived at, it wasn’t and a large Naussican in chequered pyjamas answered, and angrily told them they were at the wrong house. | |||
After a small amount of time Blackbird appeared, before an Orion from earlier showed up wanting something they had. They refused to give it too her. Groznin was at this point in a lot of pain and things often left his memory. The next thing he remembered he was being dragged to a motorbike and heading to the port to try and escape, they headed quickly through the slims and seeing things that were very uncertain. | |||
When they reached the port there was another familiar Orion waiting to meet them. Theeda with her grunts wanting what they had said they were going to get her. They argued for quite sometime before one of her grunts dragged their pilot of the shuttle craft. Groznin still in a lot of pain, eventually got the courage to get over his fear of using his phaser and shot Theeda, bluffing about the setting the phaser was on. When Theeda and her goons had been taken care of, Groznin boarded their shuttle with the rest of the away team, along with Blackbird, and a retrained Theeda and started to leave Nassau. | |||
After a dealing with port authority, they were allowed to leave and started to head back towards Captain Brunsig and his Defiant Class Triumphant, Commander Marshall and his own conditions worsened, with Commander Marshall being transported directly to sickbay when they entered within transporter range along with Ensign Cayne. Groznin waited along with the rest of the away team, They eventually transported onto the Triumphant and the shuttle craft was destroyed. With his injuries he ordered for Theeda to be taken to the brig and then himself left for sick bay. Collapsing on the floor as he walked into the room. For him this was the end of the mission. And he spent the first part of his shore leave in sickbay till they reached the Gorkon. | |||
