Background
Born in Rome Township, Ohio. A career librarian.
In 2398, Gertrude Kettleworth resigned her position at the Rome Township Public Library after 22 years on staff, due to excessive and repeated construction noise coming from a building project across the street. Hoping for a quiet working environment with no disruptions, Kettleworth signed on to serve as librarian of the USS Resolution shortly after.
In July 2398, Kettleworth, while trapped on the holodeck with Cayden Adyr and Gnaxac, was subjected to a torturous simulation at the hands of a Q, who was using Resolution to experiment with time.[1]
In October 2398, Kettleworth survived the destruction of the USS Resolution and, a month later, transferred with the majority of her former crewmates to the USS Excalibur-A.[2]
In early 2400, Kettleworth was one of the Excalibur crewmembers who transferred to the newly relaunched USS Artemis-A.
