Faith Blake, an infant Brekkian/Betazoid hybrid, is the daughter to Commander Sky Blake. Faith stays with her mother, like a baby should.

Personality

• Faith is quite a playful child. She enjoys having lots of attention, especially cuddles with her mother.

• Like any infant, Faith is a heavy sleeper. Like most Brekkian children, Faith usually sleeps with Sky, and is quite capable of sleeping through the night unless something's wrong.

• Faith is at the development stage where just about anything is interesting. She especially likes colours and textures, and seems to like triangles more than any other shape. She usually crawls to the toy she wants and is quite capable of rolling onto her stomach to explore the floor or the bed.

• Religion/Spiritual Devotion: Sky plans on raising her in the Norssian religion, but will be accepting of anything Faith wishes to do later on in life.

Hobbies and Pastimes

• Playing and Discovering
  • As Faith is a baby, she enjoys lots of play and discovering time. She loves play time with Sky, and since being taken to day-care due to Sky's position on the starship, she discovers a heap of things there. She especially likes playing with shapes and feeling textures of skin, carpet and clothing. For some reason, she perfers to play with block triangles . . . not that that's a problem at all.

Dislikes

• Sleeping away from her mother
  • Faith shows the typical behaviour of a Brekkian child - she is either uncomfortable or scared of sleeping away from Sky. She can sleep during the day without her, but when the lights go off, Faith goes off. It's very unusual, and will be difficult to change in the future and also complicates Sky's relationships, but Sky loves being with Faith just as much as Faith loves being with her.

• Skyleena Serrella Blake
  • Born on Stardate 236306.13, Sky had a very traumatising past. She wants to make sure the Faith does not experience what she experienced, thus her relationship with her is strong, and Sky is not relaxed when Faith is not around.
  • Sky will always admit that Faith was an accident, but Faith was the best mistake she made. She loves her daughter with her life, and would never leave her at any point in time. She has never missed one of Faith's development milestones.
  • With Faith around, having a relationship with another person has proven difficult, but rumour goes round that she is dating Sabor, after the two were caught kissing during a red alert on the Avandar. This is likely, as Sabor has spent a considerable amount of time with the two whilst being posted at the Embassy, but it was originally uncertain as to why.

Father

Biologically, Faith does not have a father, but was conceived between Sky and Alixis Ozera, who disappeared before Sky was able to tell him. Currently, it is believed that Sabor as stepped into the shoes as Faith's father.

Godfather

• Hannibal Tiberious Parker
  • Parker was asked to be Faith's godfather by Sky soon after Faith was born. Parker, when he is around Sky, acts like her father. He is very protective of both mother and child. Many of the Embassy crew was under the impression that Faith was Parker's daughter - this is incorrect, as Faith was conceived before the physical relationship between Sky and Parker developed.

Godmother

• Hannah Martinez
  • There for Sky's pregnancy and Faith's birth, Hannah was there for much of Faith's newborn life. Hannah is Sky's best friend - her first one on the Ronin after having a love/hate relationship with her - and Sky trusts her with her life. Should anything happen to Sky, Faith is to be taken straight to Hannah. Faith knows Hannah quite well, and Hannah knows Faith. Sky considers her as Faith's second mother.

Personal History

Born on the USS Thunder during a red alert, Faith was placed in her mothers arms just as the red alert subsided. Many officers were under the impression that Faith's birth was "jump-started" by a rough landing, but it was later found that it was just pre-term labor. She was born one month early, but still perfectly healthy, regardless on everything she went through in her mother's womb.

When her mother was taken off of maternity leave, Lila, her grandmother, took care of her, as did Hannah when Sky was busy with something else. But, eventually, Sky would start taking her to work in her sling.

Soon, StarFleet gave Sky an offer to take the Chief of Security position on the USS Avandar, and now that Sky reflects on it, she's glad that she did, mainly for Faith's wellfare. The Embassy, shortly after Sky's unannounced leaving, was attacked by Klingons. As communications where down, there was no confirmation as to how they were doing.

When Sky and Faith arrived on the Avandar, Faith was taken to the ship's day care facility, as Sky needed to get to work straight away. Since then, Sky has decided that she will spend the day there when she's working, as she will learn quicker and will be involved with other races.
