Thirty science labs span all open space not assigned to impulse engines or reactors, or the main lounge, on decks 9 and 10. Eight of these labs are micro-labs used for testing smaller pieces of tech or for use by small teams working on smaller projects. A dedicated astrophysics and a dedicated [[Excalibur Astrometrics|astrometrics lab]] is located on deck 10. Direct access to shuttlebay two is available on deck 10 for scientific purposes as needed.

Other labs serve as bio-chem-physics labs and areas for probe configuration, various experimentation, and mission specific needs. Four of the larger labs are heavily reinforced with high level containment field emitters and are used for testing and experimentation of unknown technology or hazardous materials/products.

Thirty science labs span all open space not assigned to impulse engines or reactors, on decks 9 and 10. Eight of these labs are micro-labs used for testing smaller pieces of tech or for use by small teams working on smaller projects. A dedicated astrophysics and a dedicated astrometrics lab is located on deck 10. Direct access to shuttlebay two is available on deck 10 for scientific purposes as needed.
