Evelyn McLaren is currently the Chief of Mining Operations for the Amity Benemite field near Amity Outpost and is currently stationed on Amity Outpost. Evelyn was originally born on Meiridin in the Shoals.
From a young age, she did not like being on the planet, and she really wanted to get away from The Shoals. She started working in the nearby mine on Antor II to get some money to move. At the same time, the crew of the USS Veritas had arrived on Antor II to assist with some planet upgrades. She was leading Lt. Ikaia Wong and Lt. JG Scotty Reade on a mine tour when there was an earthquake and the mine had collapsed. After some help from the rest of the crew of the Veritas, she managed to escape.
With that new knowledge, she went back to school and got a Bachor's Degree in Engineering. Eventually, she found a job opening in a benemite field near Amity Outpost. With that she moved to the Amity in the Delta Quardrent. Little did she know the old crew of the Veritas were now the new crew on Amity.
