While back in 2156 the Endeavour 5 crew, consisting of Lt. Jr Elon Blackford, Crewman Pham, Lt. Jr Oskana Yunin, Ensign Sasha Maine, and Lt Ryong Hiun are scouting a potential colony spot on a moon and are in Day 3 of their scouting mission. While the crew are checking daily conditions on the surface and sending reports back to the Endeavour 5, something unexpected happens: a set of flying lights appear over their campsite. Ensign Maine seems to be taken over by the lights and demands that the crew is stuck on this moon forever. One by one, the crew are possessed by these unknown entities. Eventually Yunin runs towards the forest to try and kill the flying lights. As the crew continues to get possessed one by one. The only remaining member left is Crewman Pham. Pham tried to escape in the group's shuttlepod, but as he lifted off, it turned out that Yunin, now possessed, had snuck into the shuttlepod as well.
