Background
Emjulik was born on a small outpost at the border of Klingon space. She was the oldest twin by 10 mins. She and her brother grew up in a small village on the outpost. She and her brother were often made fun of by the other children and often got into fights. Their skin colour and pointed ears told the others they had Romulan blood in them.
Her brother as they grew up, often got in trouble with the law, while she buried herself in books and mechanical manuals. When she reached 18 she applied for entrance into the Academy and was accepted. It put a rift between her and her brother.
