Personal History
Lieutenant Emerson D'Arcy Ravenscroft was a Terran male initially stationed on Deep Space 285.
He was a gifted xenolinguist, as well as a skilled cook and epicurean. He was athletic, 178cm tall, with pale skin, bright green eyes and fiery red hair with a generous sprinkling of freckles on the bridge of his nose and upper cheeks. He was Captain of the Academy's wrestling team, the Fighting Phoenix.
After a year or so of applying for a post aboard the USS Discovery-C, to be close to his good friend, then Counselor Raj Blueheart, his wish finally came through, much to the delight of both men. Emerson was introduced to Blueheart by Blueheart's sister, Sheila Blueheart Solis, who is a warrant officer on the station.
Emerson's identical twin brother, Lieutenant Tarquinn Lennox Ravenscroft, is missing in action while on duty surveying an archaeological site on a classified M-class planet in the gamma quadrant. He is presumed dead, though Emerson thought otherwise and had never given up the hope of one day reuniting with his brother.
On stardate 239004.08, following an assault on his then commanding officer, Captain Tyr Waltas, and disobeying a direct order, Emerson was demoted to the rank of Ensign and forced to serve time in the Brig for his insubordination.
Emerson was also one of the co-parents of Blueheart's and Rogg the Dachlyd's three children, Essk, Vayu and Dryad. He had hinted to Blueheart that he wanted children of their own with Blueheart, a matter the latter had tactfully avoided discussing.
Towards the end of 2391, Emerson was kidnapped by a mysterious group of individuals led by a man calling himself Gabriel. They had mistaken Emerson for his identical twin brother, Quinn. He was then procured by none other than Addyson Martin, who, seeking revenge against Raj Blueheart for forever altering her life, poisons Emerson to spite Blueheart. Emerson's body was later found abandoned on DS26.
