ELECTION DAY SPECIAL REPORT - ELECTION FINALS - PAETRA ZRONG WINS!
The polls are closed, and Paetra Zrong has been declared the winner, and is now the Laudean Prime Minister Elect. His brother, Zeon Zrong, the present Prime Minister, will maintain the office until March 1.
At Paetra Zrong's Popularist Party headquarters, a spokesman for Zrong said that Zrong had gone to a place unknown to watch the returns, but would be available for a press conference as soon as he returned. Lokesh City Free Press will be there live for the festivities and the acceptance speech. It is possible that that will take place in the next few days.
On the down side of the elections, voter turnout was much lower than expected with only 53% of the registered voters participating in the Elections. This not only caused the race to be close, but also indicated a no confidence vote that will made it necessary for the five political parties to form coalitions to form a government.

- Zeon Zrong representing the Neo-Modernist Party - 40,438 votes
- Ahishma Chandra representing the Naturalists - 39,143 votes
- Oluwa Dela OKande representing the Royalists - 37,101 votes
- Benu Hashiwa representing the Traditionalists - 36,928 votes
