Personality
Somewhat a loner, Elena isn’t the sort to care for parties, and prefers interactions on a smaller scale. Determined, stubborn, she’s not one to mince words and there have been times her bluntness has caused some conflict. Despite that, she’s also loyal, never one to easily give up, and will do her duty.
History
Born on Earth, Elena had an unassuming childhood. Her father Richard Sands, was a well known instructor in the art of Brazilian jiujitsu. Starting at an early age, Elena explored this art along with several others. She was always an active child, participating in soccer, baseball, and basketball, despite her lack of height.
After graduating from high school, Elena went straight to Starfleet Academy. Once her time there ended, she was placed in a posting on Deep Space X. Recently, she’s been given orders to take a position on the new ship, the USS Veritas.
