Backstory
Durrell Taylor is a junior engineering officer aboard the USS Independence-A. Among his friends are fellow engineer Danielle Vistain, whom he briefly dated, and the late Tyler Morris, a crewman killed in 2387.
Earlier that same year, both Vistain and Taylor were in the shuttlebay when Tenzin Zhou first came aboard the Independence.
