Doreen 'Doz' Finch is a lively, hands-on and bullish Human, currently posted to the USS Gorkon as an Engineering Officer.

Unlike the more traditional officers of Starfleet, Doz enjoyed a long and layered career as an Enlisted crewmember, aboard an array of ships and stations, following in the footsteps of her father and brothers. During her time aboard the USS Barrington and the USS Marigold, her superiors often asked that she commissioned to officer, so that she could work alongside them. But Doz always rebuffed the suggestions, thinking of nothing worse than being held up on 'the higher decks'. This all changed when a close and dear friend of hers pleaded with her to do it, while on his deathbed. That is precisely where her Starbase 118 story begins, just five years later.
