Personal History
Devyn grew up in the Sparta Republic to his Senator parents. From being a child, he was raised in the Military to fight for the Republic. He thrives on being one of the best in his field and, while on an educational venture to Earth, he enlisted in Starfleet. Joining the Marines was, as he considers, the best thing he has ever done but doesn't deny that the transition wasn't simple. He has rare contact with his parents and is unlikely to marry a Marathon woman due to his now 'tainted' culture.
