Until recently, Alandra Deveraux was the only engineer on a pirate ship known as Morgan's Bounty. After growing increasingly dissatisfied with life as a pirate, she used a run in with Captain Mar as an opportunity to escape that life and seek asylum aboard the USS Ronin. In a twist of fortune, it turned out that her nephew, Martin Deveraux, was serving as a Tactical Officer in the very same ship.
