Anjar Thoran Close Friend, Age 38, Propulsions Systems Officer - USS Veritas The two had a one-night stand approximately four years ago. Though there is a great deal of tension between the two, they have a close friendship due to both of them having a close friendship with Lael.

Chythar Skyfire Close Friend, Age 38, Civilian barista - USS Veritas Though the two have not known each other very long, Dassa finds that he is easy to talk to and, in part due to his close friendship with Lael, considers him to be a close friend. She also looks up to him and has a deep admiration for him professionally, which extends somewhat into the personal realm.

Alex Blair Close Friend, Age 38, First Officer - USS Constitution Dassa and Alex developed a friendship through Dassa's growing friendship with Chythar. She hasn't spoken with Alex since he was reassigned as first officer of the Constitution

Elina Kincade Close Friend, Age 42, Chief Nursing Officer - USS Astraeus Dassa met Elina during a class the older woman was teaching. Elina expressed an interest in Dassa's dissertation on interspecies pregnancy. One of the older woman's lectures actually inspired the dissertation. Elina was one of the first to take a personal interest in Dassa's career and her future in Starfleet. The two have maintained a close friendship and Elina remains one of Dassa's greatest confidants.
