Lt. Commander Katy Orman	Chief of Security	Katy is Alden's boss. While initially intimidated by her superior position, her casual attitude has greatly loosened Alden's discomfort at the informality of the officers. She is Alden's mentor and has earned his trust and respect.
Lieutenant JG Anscom Folds	Medical Officer	Anscom Folds is Alden's closest friend on board the ship. The medical officer shared a cadet cruise with Alden, and their shared posting has furthered their friendship. Folds helped fellow doctor Chythar Skyfire save Alden's life after he had been stabbed during the Excalibur's mission to Agurtha.

• 236704.26 - Althin Cuthbert hops on board a supply ship returning to Earth, never to be seen by his family again.
• 237208.14 - Alden Cuthbert begins elementary schooling at a local school.
• 238105.13 - Alden finishes middle school and enrolls in the pre-Starfleet curriculum, an advanced 4-year program that culminates with the Starfleet Entrance Exam.
