Stardate 235612.xx: Forced to watch the rape and murder of her mother at the hands of the Cardassians

Stardate 235612.xx: Sent to labor camp along with her father

Stardate 235705.xx: Liberated from labor camp by the Kohn-ma resistance cell - Father joins resistance

Stardate 236006.24: Father was badly wounded during an attack on a Cardassian administrative building.

Stardate 236006.29: Told her father died from injuries

Stardate 236007.xx: Took up the fight where her father left off; making a vow to him that she wouldn't give up until Bajor was free. She became very proficient in the use of a various assortment of weapons ranging from a simple piece of wire to high explosives.

Stardate 236307.xx: Captured along with 4 other resistance fighters, all tortured by Cardassians, Denari was the only survivor.

Stardate 236308.xx: While being transported to Cardassia, she was rescued by a Starfleet vessel the USS Brattain when the Cardassian ship ventured too far inside Federation space due to a navigation malfunctions

Stardate 236308.xx - 236310.xx: Spends 2 months on SB351 recovering from her physical trauma during which time she was befriended by a young human, Jeremy Farrell. Through her friendship with him, she developed an interest in space exploration. She was intrigued by the fact that relations between two totally different cultures could be amicable.
