Personal History
Breanna was born and raised among the stars. The only child of a geologist and a miner, she grew up hopping from one asteroid to the next as her parents picked up seasonal contract work on the mines. As such, she is no stranger to tight spaces, changing gravity and the occasional emergency evacuation.
At the age of 14 she lost her mother in a mining accident, caused by a previously unknown gas pocket at a work site.
Before joining Starfleet, Breanna chose to apprentice in her parents' line of work. She spent two years on the mines before being convinced by her father that she deserved a chance at greater things.
While she did relatively well academically while on the Academy, her disciplinary record has been marred by a series of small incidents.
