Background
Borq lived on Qo'noS until she was 15 years old when she decided that she wanted to explore other avenues. She moved to Earth and grew fond of the Federation's unique style and their strange customs. Wondering what she should do with her life, she studied science at a library where she eventually landed a job as an administrative assistant. When the Federation called for the same position, she quickly took up on it and enrolled in Starfleet's enlisted program. Her personality goes between full Klingon to where she realizes she's sending off intimidating vibes and tries to act more like a Human. Although, she still aligns herself with the House of Martok.
Service History
Soon after being enlisted, she was posted on the USS Montreal. During this time, she tolerated the crew since they gave her the space needed. Not that she asked, but her abrasive personality was incredibly standoffish towards others. Borq met Muvyn Padix in one of the science labs and they began a very well coworker relationship. One day, the Montreal had been severely damaged due to an attack from Tholians. The USS Veritas came to her aid and gave them several officers to help with relief efforts. After it was known that among the crew injured was their commanding officer. Starfleet assigned Mei'konda as the new CO.
It was during this time that Borq had met one of the newest transfers Lieutenant Kawakame Shin and what started as an awkward exchange, the two began a unique relationship. It developed into a very physical exchange each time they were alone together, but it got the better of them when they were caught having relations in the brig. Borq was more than adamant about stating her case to First Officer, Lael Rosek, which ended with her being taken away by security and was placed under house arrest in her quarters and was soon to be discharged from the fleet.
A couple months later still awaiting to be taken off the ship, the crew was under severe attack from terrorists. There was so much heavy damage that Borq was able to leave her quarters and when the All Hands order was to abandon ship. The Klingon decided it was best to get a better idea as to what was going on and made her way to the bridge. Armed with her bat'leth and a phaser, Borq was taking out bad guys left and right. She made it to the bridge and it looked like she got there just in time as the area started to be overcome by terrorists. She heard that Kawakame Shin was heading down to engineering where the terrorist leader, Lenik, was trying to download information to the Orion Syndicate so she ran up to her lover and gave him a D'k tahg and a passionate kiss before seeing him go.
While she finally made her getaway, she was finally reunited with Kawakame Shin on the USS Astraeus where they made their relationship official. She hadn't had much time to gain work experience before she was suddenly transferred to Starbase 118 Ops.
