Personal History

Chip was born on Earth and was raised by his mother. His father was a Starfleet Marine and was killed in the line of duty when Chip was five years old. Against his mother's wishes, Chip followed in his father's footsteps by joining the Starfleet Marine Corps.

Chip has served on a few starships, and while on the USS Ronin, he began a relationship with a female Marine, Hella. An on-again, off-again relationship has continued between them, but most recently, an incident involving a jealous and insane physician led to Chip regaining the ability to have children. To their surprise, Hella soon carried Chip's child, and their son, Bolt, was born on Stardate 238908.05. When their son was born, Chip was away on assignment, and he first met his son when the child was four months old.
