Beta Renner is a member of the United Federation of Planets, composed of the two planets Selay and Antica in the Beta Renner system. Once mortal enemies, the Selay and Anticans brokered a peace treaty which eventually led to both species holding joint membership under the name of Beta Renner on the Federation Council.[1]
