Background
Aurora was a typical kid growing up in the shadow of the Dominion War. Watching as her people connected with others throughout the Federation, she often could pick out all of the places where communication went wrong. Because of the telepathy of her people, they were deficient sometimes in the communication methods of others. To help bridge that gap, she applied to the Academy and became a communications officer.
With a knack for being able to triage and order data and information, she often acts as a compiler who puts things together for command level staff of ships and stations for review. This assists in faster decision making and offers crews the ability to find and focus on the immediate needs first.
Personality
Growing up in a loving and caring family, Aurora wasn't born to affluence, but she never wanted for anything either. The city was her home and she was always surrounded by people, so she became quite the social type. That helped her connect to others as she made her way through life. Friendly, easy going, and not quick to jump to conclusions, Aurora works well with just about anyone and is happy to fill any role she feels her skills will fill.
Notes
Assigned to the USS Arrow, Aurora serves as part yeoman, part communications officer as the crew is smaller than seen on typical modern Starfleet vessels.
