Blast From The Past
  • 2x06: Stardate ?
    • Upon reaching the origin of the old bravo radio signal in the heart of the Norlian Nebula, the crew of the USS Atlantis NCC-74682 discover that is in fact a distress call being emitted by the USS Christopher Pike, an Oberth class Federation declared lost in 2299. The Christopher Pike was assigned to study and weaponize polaric radiation that is found in abundance in the nebula. The crew find it strange that the ship is found intact without the signs of decay.

But they are not the only ones to arrive at the location of the derelict. They are soon joined by two Dhelan class Romulan warbirds, clearly ships from another time as well. It becomes clear to both Starfleet and Romulan crews that all three vessels are caught in some sort of temporal anomaly. Whether the anomaly is a natural occurrence or one triggered by polaric radiation research conducted by the Christopher Pike, will soon be determined when both the Atlantis and the displaced Romulans work together to uncover the secrets behind this temporal mystery!

Loss Of Command
  • 2x07: Stardate ?
    • Deep in the heart of the Norlian Nebula, a temporal rift was slowly enlarging. It was borne out of the careless experimentation with polaric energy by the crew of the USS Christopher Pike in 2299. As a result of the rift, members of the crew of the Christopher Pike began appearing randomly throughout the USS Atlantis, NCC74682, while members of the crew of the Atlantis began phasing in and out of various timelines, including Capt. Raj Blueheart. These incidents were apparently triggered by strong emotional bonds to the ones they loved the most.

With the return of the away team sent to the Christopher Pike to investigate the polaric energy experiment that went awry, an anti-polaric probe was devised to close the temporal rift. The Romulans however, soon displayed their true colors. One of the warbirds, the IRW Cathex, led by Commander Riuurren, launches an unprovoked attack that destroys one of the Atlantis’ shuttles, the USS Voltaire. The attack was merely a diversion to board the Christopher Pike and steal both the ship as well as the details of the polaric energy experiment for future replication and weaponization. Unbeknownst to Blueheart, Chief of Security Lt. Tamaiti Scott had had a closed-door discussion with Sub-commander Liorae-Shiaer, who happens to be a member of the Tal Shiar. The sub-commander had provided irrefutable evidence of Riuurren’s plans to Scott, as well as the codes to deactivate the Cathex’s shields and weapons. Despite being aware that their shields and weapons are down, Blueheart gives the order to fire upon the defenseless vessel, effectively destroying it. Chief Intel Officer, LtCmdr. Tracey Townson charges Blueheart with committing a criminal act against a defenseless vessel, prompting him to relinquish command of the Atlantis. Cmdr. Marcus Dickens assumes command of the Atlantis, and learns of Scott’s clandestine talks with Liorae-Shiaer, and orders him to be secured in the brig, along with Blueheart. “You asked me why I stepped down despite saving everyone’s lives on the Tiger Shark, and I replied that that’s never enough for a captain. A captain is expected to save the lives of his crew AND the lives of the enemy. I failed to uphold this and now I have to pay the price of my actions,” said Capt. Blueheart. With time literally running out and the rift growing increasingly unstable, the anti-polaric probe is successfully detonated, closing the temporal rift and restoring every ship and every individual in their rightful place along the appropriate timeline. While the Atlantis heads for home, both Blueheart and Scott solemnly contemplate their future, and the fate that awaits them.

Crimes Of Passion
  • 2x08: Stardate ?
    • The USS Atlantis, NCC74682 returns from her mission in the Norlian Nebula and the crew enjoy their much needed shore leave. Following a judicial hearing, Capt Raj Blueheart is cleared of charges of war crimes and returned to command of the Atlantis. A promotions party is held for the crew where ensigns Daro Conti, Thomas Janeway and T’Var Helling are promoted to Lieutenant JG’s. Lt Rendal Rennyn is also promoted to the rank of Lt Commander. Right after handing out the awards, Blueheart and First Officer Cmdr Marcus Dickens leave for Earth to attend to Lt Emerson Ravenscroft’s funeral. When the commanding officer and first officer return to the Atlantis, they are shocked to learn that while they were away, during the post-awards party, under the influence of Vulcan pon farr, Lt JG Janeway physically assaults two of his fellow officers. He is instantly remanded and following a highly publicized trial, was found guilty and promptly expelled from Starfleet.

“Starfleet will not tolerate such insolence and gross misconduct from any of its officers! We owe the Federation worlds our trustworthiness and our benevolence. There is no place for violence or terrorism in the Federation, never mind Starfleet!” said Admiral Westerrhoff. The crew is visibly shaken by the incident which almost tears them apart. With the matter barely being resolved by higher authorities, the crew find themselves being ordered by Commodore Heather Westhaven to investigate the strange silence of Outpost Bravo and Prometheus Station in the Piktar System. Thus the crew of the Atlantis must tend to their wounds and come together as a team quickly as they embark on their latest mission. Only time will tell if their emotional bond is strong enough to hold them together through thick, thin and temporal anomalies!

The Secret Of Outpost Bravo
  • 2x09: Stardate ?
    • The USS Atlantis, NCC74682, is sent to investigate the strange case of the sudden silence of Outpost Bravo on Piktar 1. This follows the mysterious, random subspace pulses that were detected throughout the Piktar System, especially surrounding Prometheus Station. On arrival at the icy planet, an away team is dispatched to investigate the top secret science facility. Unfortunately, while on the ground, the planet is hit by yet another subspace pulse that destroys the outpost and traps most of the scientists within the ruins. Thus, what was supposed to be a routine investigation of the situation, has now turned into a rescue mission, with the away team racing against time to save the lives of the scientists.

During the rescue operation, another pulse rocks what remains of the facility, only to reveal a large subterranean cavern underneath the outpost. In this secret underground lab, unsanctioned experiments were being carried out, including one experiment that involved a bioengineered female human with powers that allowed her to control the natural elements of the planet, such as the wind, the ice and the snow. Elsa, as she is nicknamed by the away team, is deeply connected to the planet and attempts to remove her from the surface resulted in violent storms and earthquakes. The crew had no choice but to ender her unconscious and place her in cryostasis until they return to DS26. Only question is, what should the crew do when they do arrive at the station? Despite being a potential to be a highly dangerous weapon, Elsa is still very much human who has feelings and rights. “Do not be fooled! She may look innocent and harmless, but she controls the wind, she controls the ice. She can rip ships apart with violent storms just with the flick of a finger. There’s no telling what will happen should she fall into the wrong hands!” said Outpost Bravo rescued scientist, Dr Ahmed Gupta. Meanwhile, as the crew head back to DS26, they plan a memorial service for Lt Gwen Gardener, who was killed while on duty.
