At the age of 22, Ar'jin was assigned by the government to assist the creation of the Ba'ku war weapons. After three months serving the government, Ar'jin abandoned the regime. Scared of being taken and prosecuted by Ba'ku authorities, Ar'jin fled to the federation for security, where he enrolled and was, after training, assigned to the USS Apollo.
