Brief Biography

Aphlex worked most of his career as a non-commissioned officer with Starfleet Intelligence where he put his data analysis skills to good use. In his later years, looking for something a little quieter and less cut-throat, Aphlex transferred into the Operations department on the USS Gorkon working as the ship's librarian and archivist. Perhaps due to his years working with intelligence, but it is often said that Aphlex knows people better than they know themselves. There's certainly nobody better at recommending books and holoprograms. He is also insanely good at crosswords.
