Personal History

Left parents at a young age (17) to fly starships as an on-board checklist manager... parents wanted him to become a family practitioner (doctor of sorts), however, upon refusal he immediately left before things could be talked out... Two years later he received reports on-board ship of the assimilation of Grandor by the Borg. Later (age 22) his ship docked at a deep space station where he met a girl (one of many to come). For the first time in his life, he was willing to sacrifice anything to be with her, sadly, he joined the ship she was stationed on in order to be closer and be able to develop a relationship with her. She had no idea of his plans, and so, after dating him for a short amount of time, disappeared, most likely joining a new ship. The new ship he had joined then docked at Earth. Spending time in the outskirts of the Terran metropolis "San Francisco" he learned quickly of Terran ideology and humor, quickly picking up sarcasm. Interested to learn more, and slowly forgetting the past (purposely it seemed) he joined a college to become a doctor, with a promise to enter Starfleet if they paid for the tuition. High testing records at his natural logic sped him at a higher rate than normal through the college system and resulted in his earlier transfer than expected into the Academy for Starfleet. When there he regained his natural love of spaceflight and anxiously pressed toward the day when he could board another ship...

As a side-note, while in San Francisco, he became an avid fan of holodecks, and was compelled to experience Terran "fantasy/fiction" lore, especially liking J.R.R. Tolkien, Brian Jacques, and Anne McCaffery.

Alsone died on the USS Paladin in 2379 while saving another crewmate's life, after the ship roughly traversed a wormhole.
