In a wiki, an orphan is a page that has no links from other pages. Although they can be found by searching 118Wiki, it is much preferred that articles also be found by having links from other articles. It's important to build the web by ensuring that all pages on the wiki have links to and from (appropriate) other pages. Ideally, all articles should be reachable through a series of links that start from the Main Page.

Certain exceptions to this rule include pages that are archived (including subpages), talk pages, redirects, and disambiguation pages.
