Featured articles are considered to be some of the best articles 118Wiki has to offer, as determined by our editors. They are used as examples for writing other articles. The system of nomination and support is loosely based upon Wikipedia Featured Articles.

The content of a featured article should be of a standard where it can be held up as an example for people trying to develop other articles of a similar theme. They should be:

Well-written, comprehensive and accurate.
Have images and other media where they are appropriate to the subject, with succinct captions.
Include links to other articles where appropriate.
Be of appropriate length, staying focused on the main topic without going into unnecessary detail.

You are permitted to nominate articles you have written yourself, but you need the support of at least two other wiki editors before 118Wiki:Operations members can promote the article. When the article is promoted discussion will be moved to [[Talk:[Article name]/FA Discussion]].
