The Emergency Medical Hologram (EMH) Mark VII is a holographic program installed on the USS Kitty Hawk. In early 2400 it was transferred to the USS Jemison during a joint wargames exercise with Hirogen.
Personality
The EMH is straight-faced, serious person, who is mostly seen with a deadpan nonplussed expression and does not smile. He has a dry wit. He speaks with a baritone voice.
Medical Abilities
He is known for sometimes suggesting unorthodox medical treatments and methods, which may be part of the program's attempt at humour and good bedside manner.
