Apartment Layout

Lieutenant Robin Hopper's apartment is located in the Beijing District of Amity's Habitat Ring. The details of her hunt for the apartment and subsequent holo-emitter upgrades, can be found on her Stories Page.

Location & Description

Located on the second level of a 'walk-up' (with discreet lifts hidden in the architecture of the building's facade), the apartment takes up the entire second floor of the low-profile building, built with a mirrored twin across a small lane[1]. The building exterior is designed to resemble similar apartment buildings from the district's namesake city on Earth, inspired by architecture from mid-to-late 20th century[1].

Much more "open-concept" here, as you can see. This big space here taking up the whole left side is the living room, dining room, and kitchen in the back there. The French doors to your right lead into an office space, and beside the office is a powder room. If you walk down towards the kitchen and go around the corner to the right, you'll find the den with a fireplace...

Interior Decoration & Artwork

The interior of Hopper's apartment is simple and modern, though she has touched up the walls with muted pastels in some of her favourite colours. The bedroom features a pale burgundy accent wall, and the main living space and kitchen a muted seafoam, for example. Her furniture and decor would best be described as a retro "Mid Century Modern", taking after designs popularized in Earth's 1950s and 60s, and revitalized through the 2020 - 30s and again in the 2250s - 60s. Robin adores the 'timeless' Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic with its warm metals and rich wooden furniture.
