- Taste in Clothing (when off duty): If he's on the ship where it's cold, much colder than the part of Betazed where he is from, he wears a form of Bajoran vedek suit, stripped off of the religious parts and without a hat. When on a warmer planets prefers capri pants with lot of big pockets and always wears t-shirt in a same color as pants.

- Temperament: Alboran is friendly but serious. He will smile, but rarely will laugh or giggle, although smirking is not beyond him.
- Favorite time of day: Late night. Growing up in orphanage made it most favorite time of day for him. Even later when he was adopted and lived with his new family, he loved the time when he was not forced to adapt to a new family and could be himself and play games or read.
- Mental Problems: Alboran hates crowds. Yet another quirk of growing up in orphanage with lot of other kids.
- Favorite drinks: Anything fruity and sweet. Although he will never refuse Lady Gray tee with lemon or rum and coffee with lot of vanilla cream.
Hobbies and Pastimes
- Music: As were all other kids in orphanage, he was also forced to chose an instrument of his choosing and learn to play. Wishing to be able to avoid it, he chose piano, because it was impossible to carry it around like most of other instruments. He was wrong. As soon as he learned basics he was given flexible wave piano. Amused by it, he decided to actually learn to play it. He never became great musician, but learned enough to amuse his friends and later his new family.
- Meditation: Since he lost his parents in the age when he was supposed to start learning about the telepathy and empathy, he never got properly educated in the matter. In order to be able to control his telepathy he is forced to mediate regularly. When he joined Obaakum family he was hating meditation and he was always trying to avoid it, but their gentle approach and helpful ways made it easy regular daily routine for him and taught him to like not as much meditation itself, but benefits of peace it is bringing.
Family
- Parents: Huave and Rhina (birth parents) left on a vacation when Alboran was 5 and never returned. Nobody ever found out what happened to them. Dunan and Lridun Obaakum - adopted Alboran when he was 12 and gave him lot of love, more than he was able to accept after his time in orphanage.
- Siblings: Adoptive parents have 2 more adopted children, Lweala Vialu (who is 2 years younger than Alboran) and Anid Raasit (who is 8 years older than Alboran). They have also biological daughter Tenere, who is little girl. She was born when Alboran left for Starfleet Academy.
