The 401st Fighter Wing

Recently assigned to Starbase 118 as part of the 118th Tactical Marine Division, the 401st fighter wing provides for a myriad of needs on both the Starbase and member worlds in the vicinity. Known as the Eagle's Talon, or simply the 'Talon Squadron', the 401st consists of some of the best Marine pilots in the service who were hand picked, like other members of the division, for the aptitude in their jobs. Since the 118th is a test program, it was afforded some of the best officers and crewmen, including pilots.

Currently, the 401st flies a combination of fighters in order to complete their mission of protection and defense of Starbase 118 against any and all enemies outside.
