Unlike the normal lines VEL's can only have a maximum of 8 lines in a tube, all tracks are constantly occupied, and takes roughly 10 minutes to get all trains on a line, ready to vacuum the section. The train stations are never vacuumed, only the line that connects the two cities. The upside of VEL's is that they can travel to a top speed of 2,250 km/h (1,398mph) where as normal lines trains can travel up to 1,080 km/h (671mph). | |||
