In the center of the city, in the center of the large park that surrounds it, is the ancient statue of mystery. Surrounding the statue is a 4 foot wall of green shrubs that are carefully looked after and tended. Inside this area the grass grows wild, weeds run rampant and some vines may attempt to climb it. As tradition requires the gardener never enters this area. However nowdays with the use of some of the new technology the gardener is able to keep it under control with out haveing to enter. | In the center of the city, in the center of the large park that surrounds it, is the ancient statue of mystery. The statue is over 50 feet tall. It is of a humanoid that appears faintly terran with long hair and a beard and mustache. He wears robes that hang down to his feet and holds a book in one hand balanced against his hip. His other hand is pointing out at something. | The statue is over 50 feet tall. His other hand is pointing out at something. He is wearing a belt that has 12 symbols on it. One of the twelve symbols is promenant in it's placement at the front on what appears to be a buckle. It looks faintly like a M but with the central line being twice as long as the outer two. | ||
This statue was a central part of their earliest legends and religious beliefs. In time the religion was replaced with the newer belief in the Book of Life. The legends have also been mostly replaced with newer myths that have to deal more with agriculture and community life. | This statue was a central part of their earliest legends and religious beliefs.
