Sky Blake: Difference between revisions

Blake is a humanoid of [[Brekkian]] and [[Betazoid]] descent, sharing emerald green eyes with her Brekkian father, but lacks of any notable Brekkian features. She is 5'10 (one of the taller officers on the ''Veritas'' crew) and sports short blonde hair, just long enough to be tied back. She wears three rings on her right hand, denoting her marriage to [[Sabor]], placed on her thumb (a plain copper band), second (a plain gold band), and fourth (a stainless steel band with emerald gemstone) fingers, respectively. Though she is not totally aware of its origin, there is a two-inch long scar at the base of her lower back seemingly from a dagger-inflicted injury.

Because she is part Brekkian, Blake's body temperature is higher than that of the average humanoid. Her skin is surprisingly warm if not hot to touch. She often wears layers when operating aboard [[Starfleet]] vessels, adding additional pieces to her uniform so to remain warm in what are otherwise regular temperate environments. She may even go so far as to wear thick thermal clothing to replace parts of her uniform, or add more layers underneath it. That said, she thrives in hot climates and returns to a casual getup when working in warmer environments. She ditches uniform jackets, prefering to wear shorts and singlets where possible.  

Unless she is in her quarters, which tend to be set in the 30-degree Celsius range, she will wear comfortable form-fitting clothing when dressing outside of duty. The most skin she exposes is generally that of her collar bone and above (as well as her hands). She will also consistently wear brightly coloured, but otherwise plain clothing.

On duty, she will also be equipped with a [[Personal phaser#Type 2 "Aquila" Pattern|Type 2 Mark VIII NL Aquila]] when she deems necessary and disagrees with Starfleet's standard practise of carrying phasers.
