| colspan="4" | Wil is assigned by his Chief Geoffrey Teller to coordinate with the Livernois shipyards to get the Veritas' hull repaired quickly, in time for Lily Ventu's visit.  He and Tahlin Alse head out in to the hull, before visiting the planet to coordinate with the new Starfleet Liaison at the Livernois shipyards to get extra resources assigned to the repairs.  After returning to the ship, Wil is devastated at the news that Geoffrey and Addison MacKenzie have accepted a transfer to Duronis II, but parties hard with them at their farewell.  After their departure, Wil is once again assigned Acting Chief Engineer and works with Jansen Orrey, Raissa Moonsong, Kelrod, Charlena Vanlith and Tahlin Alse on the bridge to discover a cloaked ship that is deliberately blocking Ketar V's communications network.  He is thrilled when Jansen allows him to take helm control of the Veritas.

| colspan="4" | During a routine meeting with Captain Rahman, Wil officially throws his hat into the ring for the permanent role of Chief Engineer of the Veritas, only to be surprised that Roshanara has already put him on her short list of candidates.  He also visits Sky Blake to see how she is progressing with her recovery from her spine transplant.  A chance meeting in the ship's library with Kelrod and Charlena finds him discovering the biography of a Terran 20th Century Musician.  He once again tackles his engineering arch-nemesis, baby furniture attempts, when he attempts (and fails) to assemble a crib for Doctor Alexander-Dalton - Charlena has to save the day again.  A holodeck mix-up sees him playing a game of Velocity with Ceciri Ariadust.  After a request from Chase Masters, he constructs a holodeck program that resembles an ancient Greek Stadium to act as a wedding venue for Chase's impending wedding.  Wil enjoys a horse ride on a holographic replica of the Moonsong family property with his pseudo older sister Raissa (only to be spat on - twice - by a llama named "Murry").  Finally, Wil is surprised to discover that in Captain Rahman's upcoming absence, he has been assigned Acting First Officer under the command of the Acting Captain, Jansen Orrey.
