-T'Var Helling has always struggled with her conflicting natures. She tries to be a calm and collected person but at heart she is more a Klingon. She is strong and muscular, has slight but obvious forehead ridges, she is smaller than most Klingons and some humans, she has brown hair that reaches half way down her back and overall is quite beautiful.
 She has one older brother, K'tal, one of the only people she has every cared for. When he was killed she drifted away from the rest of her family and started trying to look into a possible career with Starfleet. She finds it difficult to make friends because she has trouble opening up and getting close to people.
