Rigel X is the tenth planet in the Rigel system, and is a colony world of the Rigelian Assembly. It is home to the Rigel Colony, the current home of the Rigelian Trade Commission, established on the planet at some point before the 2250s.
As a colony world, there are many inhabitants of varying species, including the vulcanoid Rigelians, the Jelna, the Coridan, and Humans. The planet is significant to many a Starfleet historian, being the first and last stop the Starfleet vessel NX-01 Enterprise made prior to it's decomissioning in 2161.
