- Quarters: The bulkheads are covered in drapes, and the room is generally lit by candles. Chailess prefers them to the ships lighting, as it creates a calming atmosphere.

- Mannerisms/Habits: Chailess makes no attempt to hide her promiscuous Orion ways, actively seeking out partners when off duty. Chailess avoids commitment, rarely seeing the same individual twice. When on duty, Chailess retains a level of professionalism, but will happily goof around with anyone willing to tolerate her.

Personal History
Chailess was born and raised on Orion amongst one of the more wealthier families. Chailess was schooled from a young age how to play various instruments and the art of song. She was sent to some of the best schools available to her and was raised to be a 'proper' young lady.
As she grew, Chailess quickly found she had no taste for the life her parents had planned for her. The young Orion felt the wanton ways of her species strongly, and desired a much different life for herself, even though she had a natural gift with mechanics. When her parents discovered the young womans intentions they were dipleased, giving her a choice; she could join Starfleet, or marry into a family of their choosing or, if she chose to follow her coquette ways she would be cut off from the family.
Deciding that joining Starfleet would allow her some freedom from her parents and their restrictive ways, Chailess joined Starfleet Academy enroling in several Engineering courses.
Apon completion of her Starfleet training, Chailess was assigned to Starbase 118.
