They are mostly humanoid except with a vestigial ridge just above the eyebrow and along the nose and can be mostly distinguished in appearance by a high forehead hairline.

They are easy to take offence, and find haven in boring, bureaucratic jobs or mundane research jobs. They are Federation members who (rumour has it) are a "sexually repressed" species.

Their ambassador Taxco was one of four Arbazans visiting the Bajoran wormhole on a fact-finding mission circa stardate 46925. They can often be spotted on Deep Space 9.
